Bovender chose family medicine because of the variety of people and cases. She enjoys focusing on nutrition and weight management as a way to control or prevent chronic illness. She believes in personalized care when working with her patients and wants her patients to feel like their concerns are being addressed and their worries put to rest. While away from the office, Bovender enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son. They really enjoy being active together, whether that means running, riding bikes or jumping on their trampoline.
